Penny Authors (PA) Service Update

*NOTICE*

So, in doing our 5 years review, Penny Authors is getting rid of this facility from its core.

As of 1st of June 2020,
there will be no "Share of the Royaties",
options and functions.

All past arrangements will be cancelled.

Background

Since the founding of this philanthropical project we have moved on and progressed to accomplishing the 6th volume of the Penny author's anthology, the "Book of Lived".

Through this journey many ideals have been implemented and utilised to ensure the nurturing of it. The benevolent aspects of the project has supported the nurturing of the growth, however, some aspects have not been beneficial, productive or progressive.

*The share of the royalties.

The project was supposed to become a self financing one, where the sales of the anthologies to finance the following anthology and retain enough to pay out dividends. This hasn't been the case.

Further to this, the set up of receiving funds, also required everyone receiving any to declare their income and therefore for accountability everyone needs to process tax documents and so on.

This put additional man power and strain to facilitating this project on the administration.

What's new?

  • PA has streamlined to support the nurturing of the project and all who are part of it.
  • All PA's can still benefit from buying books at the special rates to buy to give to friends and family as well as to sell on.

New process introduced:

  • All PA's to buy the launch copy from LULU at the rate set on site.

  • All PA's after purchasing the book from LULU to leave a encouraging review of the book on the lulu site;

  • Once the reviews are completed, then the books will be sold at the Authors rate, of any quantity.
  •
  • For all enquiries please email: pennyauthors@yahoo.co.uk.

Generaly

There has been progress all around.  The printing company has gone through and revamp and an update of their network and services. They have changed many of the old process and thus making PA to review its services and facilities, so adoption to the changes are essential.

Progresses

PA's have benefited by going on to publishing their own books

Printers upgrade means that we have more printing options available to us, such as the colour of the paper, the finishing of the cover and so on that were not readily available to PA then.

I hope this was useful and informative.
